Individual theoretical orientations

Theoretical orientations are individualized to each client and not limited to those listed below:

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)

I can help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors, teaching you coping skills and strategies to manage your symptoms. Together, we'll set specific, achievable goals and work towards them.

INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (IFS)

Let's explore and understand your internal dynamics, including different "parts" of yourself. I'll guide you in fostering harmony among these parts, empowering you to lead and heal yourself.

NARRATIVE THERAPY

We'll separate your identity from your problems, reconstructing your narrative in more empowering ways. Together, we'll consider how societal and cultural influences shape your story and experiences.

HUMANISTIC THERAPY

I offer acceptance, empathy, and genuineness, fostering a supportive environment for self-exploration and growth. Let's focus on your present experiences, encouraging mindfulness and awareness.

Couples & Families Theoretical Orientations

Theoretical orientations are individualized to each couple/family and not limited to those listed below:

EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED THERAPY (EFT)

I can help you identify and address the underlying emotions and attachment needs driving your relationship dynamics. Together, we'll foster secure emotional bonds and create a more fulfilling connection.

GOTTMAN METHOD COUPLES THERAPY

Let's explore the strengths and challenges in your relationship using research-based assessments and interventions. I'll provide you with tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen your friendship and intimacy.

ATTACHMENT

We'll examine how your attachment styles impact your relationship dynamics and support you in developing a more secure attachment bond. I'll help you understand and navigate your emotional needs and responses within the relationship.

FAMILY SYSTEMS

I'll assist you in understanding how family dynamics and patterns influence your relationships. Together, we'll explore ways to create healthier boundaries, improve communication, and address any systemic issues impacting your relationships.

Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider and do not directly bill insurance for treatment. However, many insurance companies will provide some reimbursement direct to you upon receiving a super bill, which I can provide to you as needed. If this is something you are interested in I encourage you to call your insurance to find out what reimbursement will look like for an out-of-network provider.

No Surprises Act

You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of total costs, which, upon request, I will determine by multiplying the session fee by the likely number of sessions you may need in the next 12 months. This is simply an estimate- you may always end treatment at any time.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
